About Railyard Row · San Francisco

Not A Vendor — A Steady Hand In The Yard

Railyard Row is a small security practice that exists for small clinics. We take on a few independent practices at a time, so the person who walks your floor is the person who signs your report.

A Security Practice Sized For A Waiting Room

Most security firms are built for hospitals with a department to answer them. Independent clinics were left with a binder, a vendor invoice and a vague unease. Railyard Row began as a quieter answer to that gap.

The name comes from the railyard: a place where nothing departs until it is inspected, sequenced and cleared. We bring the same order to patient information — where it sits, who can reach it, and what to mend first.

We assess and advise only. We do not resell software or manage your systems, so nothing in a report is shaded by what we might sell next.

Track BPrinciplesWhat we hold to

Three Standards We Keep At Every Stop

Plain Sentences

Every finding is written so a practice manager can read it at lunch and act by afternoon. Acronyms are explained once, then retired.

Not a forty-page document built to impress.

Fees Named In Advance

$3,850 for the assessment, $2,240 for the roadmap, $1,275 for a training cohort. You see the figure before we begin and the invoice follows the deliverable.

Not an hourly meter running quietly in the background.

Independence, Kept Intact

We have nothing to install and nothing to renew. That distance is what lets us tell you, honestly, when a fix is small — and when you need nothing from us at all.

Not a finding that quietly ends in a sales call.

A line we repeat

Our promise

Calm is a deliverable. We hand it over in writing.

A clinic that knows where its gates are sleeps better than one with a taller fence. Everything we write is meant to leave you with that knowledge.

Track CFirst visitWhat to expect and what to bring

The Morning We Walk Your Floor

Arrival

Coffee, then the front desk

We begin where patients begin: check-in, the shared screen, the fax line. We stay out of the way of appointments.

Midmorning

Short talks with each role

Ten minutes with the practice manager, a clinician and whoever handles billing. We ask how work actually happens, not how the policy says it should.

Close of day

One map, left behind

You keep a sketch of where patient information lives. No invoice is raised until the signed report is delivered.

Bring to the first visit
  • A list of the software and vendors that touch patient records
  • Your current policy binder, however dusty
  • The date of your last risk analysis, if you know it
  • Contact details for your outside IT vendor

Nothing to prepare beyond this. We do the digging.
